If I got the developer level package would I be able to edit how many travel option boxes appear on the home page and insert click-able buttons underneath the travel option picture?
The description of items included in the developer package it says membership reregistration… can I connect that to my back office systems to sync with my mailing lists, etc. Is the information collected on the form fully customizable?

You can add unlimited Featured Boxes and Contents in Travel Extend with Links. Travel Extend has options where you can enable the Member Registration and Log In panel.

Connecting with mailing list is a Plugin Territory. You may find any appropriate plugin for this.

How can I eliminate all the Featured Boxes? I zero’d out and deleted all form data and I still end up with the top portion of the first box. Something to note is although there are no images chosen, the blue heading states Front Page Featured Image: 1 Site is http://orlandosunshinetour.com Please let me know. Thanks.

I figured it out. In Editor I changed the foreach range to zero from 1.

You can do such these styling using This Technique. We don’t recommend to edit the Theme Files. This Technique is the best for any styling. You can set the display property to none to hide any specific element.

I just purchased Travel Extend. The sales person on the chat said I could add videos easily in the featured boxes on the home page. I have tried everything from short codes to setting up a google ID, auth2, and api. YouTube links, iframe shortcode or video plugin shortcodes do not work. Is there somewhere I can find instructions for adding videos? Without them the site is useless to me as we have a ton of workout videos to add.

You can find in our Demo of Travel Extend that, the theme can accept Embed/iFrame Video codes in the Featured Boxes. There should be no issues. Please Find This Tutorial Helpful. You need to log in to D5 Creation to find the Tutorial. BTW, what is your Site URL ?

Thanks for the quick response. Man I tried every combination of video urls/video plugins possible…except that one…sites back on track. Site is on my pc on a wamp64 server but when it goes live I’ll post a link. It’s a fitness/corporate wellness site. I’ve got a programmer working on it tomorrow to add some more functionality and make the home page work better in responsive mode as well as the full width function. It kinda sucks that we have to design one size fits all websites. It is so different looking at a site on a cell phone vs a 50+” television. Even on my desktop I have a 22″ monitor and a 28″ monitor. Site is so different on both of those. Have to come up with a better width setup for the content. For example if the site goes wider than say 22″ it adds the left or right column. The column would stay hidden until the site was on a larger monitor or television and you wouldn’t see it on a cellphone. Or…have content underneath the main body and when the site goes wider than 22″ it moves that content into the right or left column. Or something like that…I don’t know the solution.

Is there any reason why you don’t put that video code string in the template admin so you easily add the videos? I literally spent close to 4 hours on what should have been a cut and paste scenario.

But thanks again for the quick response.

Well…after being able to make the video additions to the template it was time to upload the template from my localhost wamp64 server to my test server online. I used Akeeba to backup and restore the site. Once the site was up I went in to make changes. I can’t save any changes in the wp-admin to the theme. I deactivated the theme and activated another theme and I was able to make and save changes. I reactivated the Travel Extend theme but I am not able to save any changes. So I deleted the theme and reinstalled…same problem. All of the other themes work so it seems there must be a conflict somewhere. I deleted all of the plugins I had installed as well. Still no luck.

    Any suggestions?

This is not a common problem or not reported any user before. So, we believe that it is a issue of your site specifically. We need to check your WordPress Dashboard to find out the issue. If that is Theme Related, we must resolve the issue. Please provide Your Site URL, One Temporary Admin ID and Password to our E-Mail [email protected] when your site will be online. You can install the site in live domain activating the Maintenance Mode or can install in a sub domain or sub folder. Thus your visitor will not find the development site.

@John Barson, We are confirming you that is not a Theme Issue. The description field of Travel Extend’s Featured Boxes and Contents can accept HTML, JavaScripts, iFrame, Embed Code etc. The box is using the WP Editor Method. We could not reproduce the issue in our Test Environment. Your issues may be related to you Database and/of files.

    Hi,

How do I remove the telephone number and stars from the very top of the Travel Extend home page?

Thank you. I like this theme *very* much.

You can leave the Telephone Number box blank from WP-Admin > Appearance > Travel Options > General Options, Same for the Social Links from Social Link Options Tab

Thank you very much for that. I didn’t realize the stars were the social link placeholder. Now I do.

The thin banner across the top. Is that removable?

    Thanks again!

By thin banner I mean the narrow strip of blue across the top of my website where the social links (stars) were… Here’s my site for an example:

    Thank you!

Please use the following in the WP-Admin > Appearance > Travel Options > General Options > Custom Code within Head Area Box

    <style>#top-menu-container {background: rgba(10, 100, 200, 0);}</style>

Thank you. I applied the code as directed and the header bar is still there… but it moved it a little further down from the top. I would like to remove it altogether if possible, thank you!

There is something wrong in your implementation. If you use the code properly in the right box, your top menu bar will not be shown. We tested again in our test environment and worked perfectly. Please provide us the Site URL, One Temporary Admin ID and Password to our E-Mail Support.
