These are righter a Theme Problem or WordPress problem. You should not use the Quick Edit mode of Posts/News. You should also have the maximum memory for php more than 250MB in your PHP.ini file. You can ask your host to set that. You can also use any Caching Plugin like W3 Total Cache.
