Most of our Themes have Layout Options like Full Width, Content+Right Sidebar and Left Sidebar + Content which can be selected from the Theme Options. All of our Themes have Full Width Template for Pages. ( Please remember that Template is not present for Posts by WordPress System )
You can Remove the WidGets from the Sidebar easily.
But, The Space of the Sidebar/Widgets will remain until you will do some adjustments of the Theme Layout. Fortunately, You can set any Type of Layout of your site with NewsPres Theme. You can set Sidewide or Specific Pages/Categories/News Items as any of these three.

During Page Creating/Editing (Nor Post/News) You can use various Templates for your Purposes. There is always a Full Width Template for all of our Themes. You can also Find Some other Templates which are very useful for Drag and Drop Page Builders. Even you can set a Full Blank Page template where you can show anything without any content of the Theme.

You can set all Single Page as Full Width or Left Sidebar Style at once from the NewsPress Options
It is also Possible to Set any Specific Post/News Full Width. You need to set the Option during Post/News Creating/Editing
