I was having problems getting the slider to work as well. One problem appears to be something in my version of Firefox. It still doesn’t work on my computer, but friends with Firefox say it is working for them.
The other issue may have been getting the file sized properly. Once I used a 930 x 354, it worked. May or may not have been my original problem though.
