    My slider is set to use Pages as the source for each slide. How do I limit or control the text that gets displayed in the slide? It would be nice to have an option to tag or have a text field per page to input exactly what text should be displayed on the slider. Maybe there is a character limit number somewhere at least?

    You can set Excerpt Text for Posts. These are WordPress Core Feature. Pages don’t have this Excerpt Option. But, you can enable Excerpt for Pages installing This Free Plugin.
