Child Theme does not work in Simplicity Lite

    I do not understand every other theme seems to work with the following code

    /*
    Theme Name: simplicity-lite – child
    Description: Child Theme
    Author: Gareth Richards
    Version: 1.0
    Template: simplicity-lite
    */

    @import url(‘../simplicity-lite/style.css’);

    But for some reason not with this theme does anybody know why?

    I am tempted to upgrade my membership but I need to now it works first

    Simplicity Extend has Theme Options where you can insert custom style. Thus you need not any child themes.
