    Is it possible on your News Press Theme to show Popular News and Editor’s Choice and hide the gallery box? I just want to show the editors choice bar and the popular news in my side bar without having the Gllery and More Galleries box?

    My IT skills are a limited, but dont see an option for this in your theme options

    There is no direct option to do this. You can set the entire gallery block off. You can also disable any components setting their css value to display:none; using This Tutorial
