Hi all, I have been asked to take over a website created by someone else.
For the front page, I updated the banner images and they show up immediately, but after editing the Front Page Heading Description, the update does not show up. Do I have to publish something? Browser cache is cleared.

Also the theme is “Simplify Child”. There is an update to the “Simplify” theme. If I install the update, it will cascade to the Child, right?

What is your Site URL ? Please let us know first.

You can update the Theme Settings, Headings, Featured Boxes from WP-Admin > Appearance > Customize for the Free Version and from WP-Admin > Appearance > SIMPLIFY Options for the Extended Version.

Normally, Theme update doesn’t affect the site content. You can find This Theme Update Tutorial helpful: https://d5creation.com/themeupdate/

Hi, the site is kathaktoronto.com and right now on the front page it says
Welcome to Kathak Toronto
Kathak classes and performances in Toronto, Scarborough, and Brampton
Combining skill and passion, and reflecting a great respect for tradition

I edited the Front Page Heading Description and removed “Scarborough, and Brampton” and saved but the website is not updated.
