    I purchased the Extended version JUST to get rid of these ugly side banners that say 250×90…… on the sides of the header……. and I still…for the life of me cannot figure out to remove them or replace them. This is really frustrating.

    Hi Julie,

    On your website’s dashboard, go down to themes, then open NewsPress Options. From there, you can remove the ugly side panel images.

    Please go to WP-Admin > Appearance > NewsPress Options > Advertisements. You can control those from there. Remove the sample html codes from there.
