    I’m a fairly new WordPress user. And this is my first experience with NewsPress Extend.

    I uploaded the theme to my HostGator WordPress hosting account. Then I went to Appearance, Customize with plans to start building my page. When I went to header image section, it allowed me to remove the NewsPress red-black header image. But, when I saved and loaded the page, it’s still there. Am I doing something wrong?

    You need to find the Options under Appearance > NewsPress Options , not in Customizer
