You can use this in the WP-Admin > Appearance > Searchlight Options > General Options > Custom Code within Head Area Box

.sti-icon.sti-item.sampleclass1 {
background: transparent url("https://domain.com/image.png") no-repeat scroll center center / auto 100% !important;
height: 100px; width: 100%; box-shadow: none; border: none;
/* sampleclass2 here */
</style>

<style>

.sti-icon.sti-item.sampleclass1 {

background: transparent url("http://domain.com/image.png") no-repeat scroll center center / auto 100% !important;

height: 100px; width: 100%; box-shadow: none; border: none;

/* sampleclass2 here */

</style>

Then use the sampleclass1, sampleclass2 … in the Icon Name from Font Awesome Box
