    I try to update version 1.9 to 2.3 but receive the error: Destination folder already exists. /var/www/vhosts/digitalskies.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/snowfall-extend/

    Theme installation failed. I don’t want to delete the existing and loose all the work and settings.

    Please consider that, WordPress Posts, Pages, Setings, WidGets, Menus and other dynamic data is stored in a Database, not in any Theme File. So removing/deleting/installing/updating of Themes doesn’t remove any existing data or settings. If you don’t change/modify/customize any Theme Files directly, you will not be affected. WordPress Theme Update is Overwriting the Theme Files or Delete and Re-Install the Same Theme. The Automatic Updates for the WP Free Themes do the same, Just Overwriting the new files with existing
