    I am using the D5 Business Line theme.

    I would like to know how to disable the ‘Comments’ that appear at the base of every page.

    Also, disable the Archive and Meta boxes which appear on the right side of every screen.

    You can control the Comments during you create and/or edit and post or page. Business Line Extend has Theme Option where you can disable the Comments sidewidth. You can also control the WidGets from WP-Admin.
