The slider speed was updated with the new update, but it deleted all the content from my widget areas when the update was installed. Perhaps there is a way to use the WordPress update system so that this does not happen to others? The effects were catastrophic to my website, and I am working on getting a previous backup installed to save all the data that was lost.

While the script has some limitations, changing the basic speed that the sliders advance should be addressable??? I have struggled with this for several hours with no success. Has anybody else encountered this, and solved it??? I have accessed the fpcontents > fp-slide file and changed the paginationSpeed : 1000,
    rewindSpeed: 1000,
    goToFirstSpeed : 1000,
    slideSpeed : 1000,

    to

    paginationSpeed : 100000,
    rewindSpeed: 100000,
    goToFirstSpeed : 100000,
    slideSpeed : 100000,

    with no effect.

    suggestions???
