Featured Image

Featured Image is an Important Part of NewsPress Theme. The Featured Image will be shown in the Slider and with every News/Post. You can select set a Featured Image during Post/News Creation. You can also set the First Attached Image as Featured Image. You can set a Common Image as Featured Image if not set any with a Post/News during Creating/Editing. But, you should consider something during the Settings of Featured Image Options through WP-Admin > Appearance > NewsPress Options > Featured Image

You can also Disable the Featured Image in Single Post/News View during Post/News Creation/Editing

Some of you may want to show any HTML or Advertisement in the place of More Galleries linting in Front Page Gallery Block. You can do this simply using JavaScript in the WP-Admin > Appearance > NewsPress Options > Genral Options > Custom Code within Head Area for Front Page Box

Those are not Social Links. They are Clients’ Logos. You can disable them from WP-Admin > Appearance > Simplicity Options > Clients

Please consider that you are using Images within HTML address tag which is not standard. In Searchlight, address tag has maximum width set to 250px. address tag is used for Contact Information or Address of any person/location/company etc. We don’t know but that may be generated any Plugin you are using. Please read This Reference. There is no standard styling rules for the address tag. This may vary theme to theme. One of your Plugin may be generating this which is not standard.

You are using <address class="mceTemp"> which is not standard use of HTML address tag. You can try using image from Image Inserter. You can also check disable your Plugins one by one. We shall also try to remove the maximum width in next update.

The Main Menu is already in the Top-Right Position. Do you want to shift the Main Menu or Slide Caption ?
If you want to shift the Slide Caption you can add the following in the WP-Admin > Appearance > Travel Options > General Options > Custom Code within Head Area Box

Please consider that the Image within Post/Page Content is not controlled by the Theme. Your problem may be a Caching Issue. You can show with detail screenshots mentioning what is happened and what should be. Are you sure the Editor is set as Visual Mode ( Not Text Mode ) ? Did you clear the Cache of the Browser ? We can’t regenerate such these problems in our Test Environment. If you used the Extended Version we could check your site taking admin access from you.

We are finding some blank images in your page but no issues of Theme. Please check your Page activating another theme like Twenty Seventeen temporarily. If the problem remains that will not be a Theme Issue. Then you can reactivate the Searchlight again.

This is not a Theme Issue. You can check activating another Theme like Twenty Seventeen. BTW, what is the PHP Version of your server. If it is not greater than 7 you can request your host to upgrade their host to PHP 7

Please consider that is not a Theme issue. That is a issue of hosting/server. Your hosting has set a very minimum File uploading limit. It should be more than 20MB. You can contact your hosting to do that or can use the FTP Method of Theme Installing. You are also requested to read This Article.

When you will delete the front-page.php your site will not show the Slider, Testimonials, Clients. The site will show the Blog Pots or Page as per the configuration of WP-Admin > Settings > Reading

You can remove the front-page.php file getting access to your server/hosting via any FTP Client

But, you can still do the thing without deleting the front-page.php file. We recommend this.

You can Hide the Featured Posts, Show the Posts/Page as per the WordPress Reading Settings from WP-Admin > Appearance > Writing Board Options > General Options

You can hide the Slide Unchecking This. Similarly, you can hide the Testimonials, Clients etc. from the Respective Tabs.

For Showing Selected Posts in the Slider you should check these during Post Creating/Editing

Extended Version has this advanced feature because all posts may not be same important for showing in Front Page Slider or List.

We request you to go through all available options under WP-Admin > Appearance > Writing Board Options
