1. Colors are spreaded many places under WP-Admin > Appearance > AssociationX Options. You can find most of them (but not all) under WP-Admin > Appearance > AssociationX Options > Color. You can set Color/Background Images from there. You will find all Theme Related Color Options/Settings under WP-Admin > Appearance > AssociationX Options. We request you to go through all available options first.
2. You can set the Slider Images from WP-Admin > Appearance > AssociationX Options > Slider
You can set/remove the Over Mask from WP-Admin > Appearance > AssociationX Options > Slider > SLIDE IMAGES > Set Over Mask
3. SSL Issues are not related to the Themes. You should check and make sure all the Image Locations and Site URLs are set with https:// under WP-Admin > Appearance > AssociationX Options. You can also use the Plugin Really Simple SSL and activate the Mixed Content.

You can also change the Fonts and Colors from WP-Admin > Appearance > Premium Options > Fonts Styling. The Website Font will change the Menu Font as well.
Please consider, Small Business is a Theme and WooComemrce is a Plugin. Small Business can show what you will configure with the WooCommerce Plugin. Theme can not control the functionalities of Plugins. You can show your desired Products easily in Front Page from WP-Admin > Appearance > Small Business Options > E-Commerce
You can use WooComemrce ShortCodes as per your choice. You can show products according to the Product Categories, Tags etc. You can find detals of the WooCommerce ShortCodes Here. There is a New Version of Small Business Theme. You can Update your Site with the New Version for more features of the Theme.
You can Seperate Products with different Categories, Tags and then use them with ShortCode like [products tag="business" limit="4"] or [products category="something" limit="9" columns="3"]
