Did you activate the Responsive Layout from Socialia Options ?

If you test the DEMO of Simplify Extend, you will find that OK without any problem.

We found that you are using caching plugin. Your Responsive Style sheet is not loading. Please activate the Responsive Layout and clear/purge the cache from the Plugin and check again. If you still see the site without activating Responsiveness you can provide us one temporary Admin ID and Password HERE so that we can check your Dashboard. There is no direct option to set Videos in Front Page News Content. You can embed any Video in any Text Widget from Appearance > WidGets

If you want to show YouTube Videos in the places of Featured Images you can find some Plugins which may do this for you

Is it possible to add any Custom Social Icon which is not Available in Theme ?

The Answer is YES, You can. You just need to add some Custom Styling in the Appearance > NewsPress Options > General Options > Custom Code within Head Area Box. Most Common Social Links are automatically Available with the Theme.

Suppose the Custom Web Domain is d5creation.com and the Image Icon URL is http://i.imgur.com/7rTQJsl.png

You need to upload the Image Icon anywhere in the Web. You can upload from WP-Admin > Media. You will take the URL from the upload location

The Image Icon should be PNG or GIF Format and Size should be square and 20 to 100 Pixel Height and Weight.

You will find all of those features without using any Plugins. Please check available options under Appearance > NewsPress Options. You should also select the moving news from News Editor juts like you select news for Slider. If you have any caching plugins installed you should clear the cache

Please consider that NewsPress is specially designed for Newspaper and Magazines. Users may want to show Advertisements in the Sidebar. So it is not possible to disable the Sidebar from the Options but it can be disabled by some Custom CSS Techniques. You can Remove the Archive WidGet and can show anything like image, text etc. using Text WidGets from Appearance > WidGets
