These are WordPress Core/Plugins features. These are not controlled by the Theme. So, you need to check with the Plugins or do any custom styling for these. On the other hand IE doesn’t support all CSS3 and HTML5 Standards.
BTW, what is your Site URL?

There is no direct option to set Videos in Front Page News Content. You can embed any Video in any Text Widget from Appearance > WidGets
If you want to show YouTube Videos in the places of Featured Images you can find some Plugins which may do this for you
You can try rewriting your Permalink Structure. This is not a Theme Issue
🙂
Please consider that you should open a new Thread for any new Question. This Thread is not relevant with your question. Anyway, you can follow This Tutorial to add any custom Social Icon in NewsPress Extend
The Answer is YES, You can. You just need to add some Custom Styling in the Appearance > NewsPress Options > General Options > Custom Code within Head Area Box. Most Common Social Links are automatically Available with the Theme.
Suppose the Custom Web Domain is d5creation.com and the Image Icon URL is http://i.imgur.com/7rTQJsl.png
You need to upload the Image Icon anywhere in the Web. You can upload from WP-Admin > Media. You will take the URL from the upload location
The Image Icon should be PNG or GIF Format and Size should be square and 20 to 100 Pixel Height and Weight.
The Sample Code where you will change the d5creation.com and http://i.imgur.com/7rTQJsl.png
1 2 3 |
<style> #social a[href*="d5creation.com"]::before { background-image: url("http://i.imgur.com/7rTQJsl.png"); background-position: center center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: 70% 70%; content: ""; height: 32px; width: 20px; } </style> |
Now you can add your Desired Social Link URL in the NewsPress Options > Social Links. You can use as many links as you like following This Tutorial
Thank you very much for your reply. We are really grateful to you for being with us long time.
Hello Lasse Olsson,
Greetings from D5 Creation!
We are happy for being with you long time. There was a minor issue and we have just fixed that. Please download the Writing Board Extend again and Overwrite all Theme Files. You may know that this process will not remove any of your contents.
If you face any further problems please don’t hesitate to let us know.
We wish your success with our Themes.
Thanks
You can remove the Gallery Block totally. Then you can add Popular News ShoetCode with configuration
You can mange the categories from NewsPress Options > Categories
🙂
You will find all of those features without using any Plugins. Please check available options under Appearance > NewsPress Options. You should also select the moving news from News Editor juts like you select news for Slider. If you have any caching plugins installed you should clear the cache
Please find Line 48 and 49 of front-page.php and increase those values as expected

NewsPress Extend’s Comments Box is working without any issues. You should check the NewsPress Options, WP Settings and Post Editor Comments Allow
We expect that the Free Version users will use the available links. The Extend Version can handle the presence of the icons based on the availability of the links
We find that the site is already using their own image, not the Theme’s default image
We are sorry but the Options are available in the Extend Version only
We are sorry but the Options are available in the Extend Version only
You can leave the fields blank from Appearance > SunRain Options > Social
What is the Site Url Please ? You can set different Image or no Image from Appearance > SunRain Options > Headings
But these are SunRain Extend‘s Features. We don’t know you are using the Free Version or Extend Version
You can also follow This Tutorial for any Custom Styling
We appreciate to use SPARK Extend for more options and features
Please consider that NewsPress is specially designed for Newspaper and Magazines. Users may want to show Advertisements in the Sidebar. So it is not possible to disable the Sidebar from the Options but it can be disabled by some Custom CSS Techniques. You can Remove the Archive WidGet and can show anything like image, text etc. using Text WidGets from Appearance > WidGets
NewsPress Extend has more features to control the Theme Functions. You may feel interest on Reading NewsPress Introduction
Please download and install the Latest Version. You will find the new features. You can follow This Tutorial
Unfortunately, the Free Version doesn’t support Links. The Extended Version supports Links from Slider and Featured Boxes
We are sorry but your question is not clear
🙂
Unfortunately, Internet Explorer doesn’t support all CSS3 and HTML5 Standards
Please go to your WP-Admin > Appearance > Simplify Options > Slider then scroll down to the bottom. You will find SPECIAL INSTRUCTION FOR 3D SLIDE . You should follow that
If you don’t want 3D Slide you can select another effect from the upper part of that Page
We don’t find such Not Found search box now. You may be fixed already. This may show if you select the option to show Posts in Front Page but you don’t have any Post.
🙂
