Public DNS is a free or paid, global Domain Name System (DNS) resolution service, that you can use as an alternative to your current DNS provider.
We believe that a faster and safer DNS infrastructure could significantly improve the web browsing experience. Public DNS has made many improvements in the areas of speed, security, and validity of results.
Sometimes you can not visit a Site. There may have various issues. When you want to visit a site, your ISP's DNS resolve the Domain to IP linking. But, your ISP's DNS may be slower or use backdated technologies.
Sometimes, the government bans websites for various reasons like political, religion issues etc. But, you can still open the sites in your browsers.
There are multiple of ways. This may be the simplest way to do these. You can use Public DNS IPs like 1.1.1.1 and 4.4.4.4 1.1.1.1 is a CloudFlare's IP. 4.4.4.4 and 8.8.8.8 are Google's IPs. You may find hundreds of paid and free DNS IPs. But, we recommend using reliable IPs like CloudFlare, Google etc. Public DNS may open sites faster because their DNS resolving time is very faster comparing ISP's. Almost all sites will open without any issue.
Sometimes some of our Theme users complain that they can not open their websites. It is simple, their ISP's DNS may not show the site due to their problem. But, at the same time, other visitors from different locations can view the site.
One of the biggest reasons we suggest switch the Computer/Laptop's resolvers is that their network is set to use improperly configured resolvers. Providing correct results is one of the key benefits which Google or CloudFlare like reliable Public DNS provides. It puts priority on returning the right answer to a query.
