We are sorry, but the WordPress Review Guidelines have set some rules to use Output Sanitization of user data. In that case you can not use any HTML in text field. Actually the fields are Text Areas, not HTML. So while passing the data WordPress escapes the HTML. This Data Validation is required for security of your site for protecting injecting any code to your database by a hacker. So, using HTMl in text input field is not recommended.

The Extend Version has HTML input field and you can also input Links from the Theme Options. You can check the Simplify Extend Demo HERE and Theme Features HERE.

BTW, are you using Simplify or Simplicity?

You can do it many ways applying your creative ideas. You can set the Starting Slide Image as a Birthday Image. The image will be linked to a Page or Post where you will describe your history, birthday events, any special promotions etc.

You can also set the Special Text for Featured Content Birthday Deal or something like that.

You may find any appropriate Plugin at Plugins > Add New searching with appropriate keyword

You can set something related Birthday with your logo image like Google Doodle.

Please consider that the Responsive Layout adjusts the width of elements dynamically to fit within the device width. You are using some Advertisements in the right sidebar area which have fixed width and can not be reduced. You can add some css code in the style-responsive.css file so that the iframe or advertisement elements can be adjusted automatically or the Right Sidebar always keep the same width.

The Theme can think for WordPress and Theme Generated Elements. When you will add any customized elements you should customize the CSS coding as per your requirements.

You can select any of the 03 Sources for Gallery. If you select the 1. Show the Gallery Images from Gallery Post Type there will be a new Post Type named Gallery Posts under WP-Admin. You can create Gallery from there following This Tutorial.

When you will select 2. Show the Gallery Images from General Gallery Posts/News, you need to create WordPress Gallery Post to set any Gallery in the Front Page. WordPress Gallery Creation is so easy and it is just like a New Post Creation. This Tutorial may help you on creating Gallery.

You can create multiple Gallery Posts. The Posts’ title will be the Gallery title. Normally the latest gallery post is displayed in the front page. But you can set any Post’s / Page’s ID in the NewsPress Options to show any specific gallery post in Front Page Gallery Slider if you select 3. Show the Gallery Images from Specific Post/Page.

You should also create a page and set the Page Template to All Gallery. You can use the link of that page to show your all galleries in one place. You can also set the Link to any Specific Category for Gallery Posts for better performance.
