3 Masterful SEO Insights That Will Change Your Life

Search Engine Optimization is a crucial phenomenon for all the digital marketers who are seeking for effective campaigns for their businesses. SEO insights are way too much help when it comes to digital marketing campaigns.

Insights on SEO are not any sort of tactic or action plan to follow. These are mere fundamentals that you might know already. Knowing something doesn’t mean that you’re doing it. Most of the time, the things and insights we know, we often neglect them which creates a heck of a mess. Our gut feeling tells us that we did this wrong but we most of the time ignore it. After that, we stick to our mistake which creates blunder after blunder.

In this post, I am going to provide you 3 SEO insights that you might be neglecting from a long time. Today it is time to improvise. Here, I will not just give you some glimpse and introduction of these insights, but also how to implement these insights and avoid blunders due to your negligence.

So, let’s get started and change your life,

1. Understand the search engine algorithm as much as you can

As I said before, you might know these facts but knowing and doing are entirely different. The today’s SEO community is highly under informed. There are reasons for the cause. Let’s have a look into those,

  • First thing is we all jump into conclusions by simply conducting basic corresponding studies.
  • We often generalize anecdotes.
  • We often take the industry’s best practice too seriously without taking any references to their data.
  • Ignore most of the Google’s guidelines.

search engine algorithm

Well, yes these are the facts which we actually take into our daily practices. Being an SEO industry, we all need to be a better researcher, tester, skeptic, and experimenter.

This is easy to understand that the search engines are made just to make ranking difficult. The simple phenomenon that drives search engine is, the website is more valuable if it is cited sufficiently by others.

To succeed, you need to get noticed and it requires work.

If you’re not as active as it requires, whatever the strategies you designed, they will all fail. It is as simple as this.

We all know deep down that what we need to do. If you learn some new tactic on this Wednesday, you must test its reliability. But out of habit, we jump to the next tactic. Our basic instinct is accustom of this thought that just this last tactic and then I will be knowing enough to apply it practically on the websites.

This is where everything goes wrong.

SEO is not just about knowing things. It is about doing the right thing. In order to do that you need to dedicate your time in making all the right thing your habit, such as,

  • Make use of the learned tactics.
  • Make this as your habit.
  • Use analytics to measure the accurate results.
  • Rectify as much as you can.

So, overall, this is about using the theory of SEO into practical use. In order to cross this bridge, you need to craft a habit of it and believe me, things will be done and understood more easily. Learn from your mistakes and things will gradually become easy for you.

2. Never rely on a search engine for your website’s SEO

Yes, SEO is for search engines, but relying on them can be severely lethal. There is reason for that, I’ve got two,

  • The search engine’s algorithm changes quite frequently.
  • Manipulating the algorithm can cost us everything.

Never rely on a search engine for your website’s SEO

We all know these pointers but still, there are situations when we forget these scenarios and act as we never heard of them. These insights are super important and that is the reason I am jotting them down here.

As I mentioned in the first point, Algorithm updates more than twice a day approx. This makes the total update as 500 times every year.

Beat that.

Whatever you do, there are always new things coming your way and you don’t want to miss any of the things. If we talk about Google, for instance, it is a huge collection of code interfaces. The search index is constantly updated and crawled. Even some of the elite Google engineers cannot make you understand how their system works.

If you had encountered any complex code, you know how a single tweak can change unintentionally. The kind of complex code we are talking is a huge stash of applications, protocol, databases, IRP (Information Retrieval Process) and operating systems.

So, in a nutshell, if you’re studying these factors and trying to put a reverse algorithm to counter them, believe it or not, you are up for an impossible task. We can just try to get statistical tendencies out of this info which can give us an idea. However, we should not rely on them completely as they will be different for a website of different nature.

The second point was Guidelines by Google. Allow me to quote a point mentioned by the search engine journal about Google’s guideline,

Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you’d feel comfortable explaining what you’ve done to a website that competes with you, or to a Google employee. Another useful test is to ask, ‘Does this help my users? Would I do this if search engines didn’t exist?’

I hope you get the point. People often forget this ground rule and create trouble for themselves.

3. Produce Content and Build Something

I know that sounds a bit confusing at the start. But believe me, if you understand it once, you can change your life upside down. Most of the internet tycoons don’t just produce content, they build something. Saying that again and out loud.

quality content

You know the term interaction when you first jump into this business. Do you remember how you use to surf the internet? How some of those websites become your favorite? How do you get to hold on those websites?

These are the questions that will answer what your website can achieve. Many of the entrepreneurs actually believe that most of the website grows because they can produce content. The same number of entrepreneurs believe that building something is more important than producing just content.

The core idea of this point is you need to believe in both factors. You need to produce content to build something. The sole purpose of producing content is to create either an awareness or buzz or achieving any Call to Action or things like that.

Same goes with Building something. In a website, you cannot build anything if there is no content available. So, in a nutshell, you need to create a well-designed amalgamation of both the points.

Produce a useful content to build a success ladder for your business.

Make use of well-researched keywords to create quality content and achieve success in your business.

Wrapping it up

So, as you see these are the three insights that can actually change your life upside down. You need to keep them included in your habit and you’ll see changes sooner or later. Allow me to give you a quick recap on what are the three masterful SEO insights,

  • Being an SEO industry, we all need to be a better researcher, tester, skeptic, and experimenter.
  • If you learn some new tactic, you must test its reliability.
  • SEO is for search engines, but relying on them can be severely lethal.
  • Algorithm updates more than twice a day approx.
  • We can just try to get statistical tendencies out of this info which can give us an idea. However, we should not rely on them completely as they will be different for a website of different nature.
  • You need to produce content to build something. The sole purpose of producing content is to create either an awareness or buzz or achieving any Call to Action or things like that.

I hope my article will help you develop these points as a habit and achieve all your dreams. Leave a comment if you have something in your mind. Till then, have a good one.
